County: Mason
USGS Quad: Robertsburg
Coordinates: 38.7331ºN  -81.9108ºW
Maintained by: Not maintained
Land owner: Arbuckle Presbyterian Church Trustees
Date added to WVCPA register: October 2004
Condition of cemetery**: Abandoned (October 2004)
Accessibility: This cemetery is located on a thickly-wooded hill above the Waterloo/Smith Church Road in Union District.  From the road, it is a gentle 15-20 minute climb up an old roadbed through the woods. However, the road crosses private property and is usually blocked by a locked gate. Permission should be granted before entering by this route.  There used to be a path climbing up the hillside on church land directly between the road and the church and cemetery, starting close to the location of the old Arbuckle General Store (opposite the turn off for Capehart Road - now just a vacant lot), but the area is very overgrown now and not certain that the path could be found if you didn't know where to look for it. Once to the cemetery, the ground can be very uneven in spots.  Not recommended for those that are not sure of foot.
