Comments:

Dates in Red above are not inscribed on the tombstone and have either been calculated based on death date or are as a result of research on the individual.

The most recent reading, as listed above, was done in 1968 by Mrs. Girard Fowler, and has yet to be updated. In the 1968 reading, there were suspicions that Robert Barnett was buried here.  Later research indicates that he was probably buried in Barnett Cemetery in Rockcastle, Jackson County, WV, near his farm at the headwaters of Thirteenmile Creek.

This cemetery was scheduled to be "rescued" by volunteers in the Spring of 2004, but little was able to be done with the manpower available at the time.  Reports from that team are that this cemetery is very overgrown and sorely in need of tender loving care.  Any volunteers out there?
