At one time this was perhaps a very fine cemetery, but has sadly fallen into much disrepair.  When a WVCPA team visited this cemetery in April 2005, there were several piles of recent garbage in the parking area, and much of that had been strewn by the wind or animals across the cemetery.  There was even a broken down old car left on what appeared to be a portion of the cemetery land.  It looked like it was being lived in, and we chose not to approach it on our own.  A handful of plots were fairly well-maintained (as seen on the photos), but there were also many that had become totally overgrown with vines and other underbrush so that it was virtually impossible to get to graves whose tombstones could be seen peeking through the vegetation.  It's hard to know how many more that could not be seen at all.
