Accessibility: Located on Old 18 Mile Creek road, on what was the farm of John R. Sturgeon (now owned by Douglas Sturgeon). 
To get there, take CR 41 from Rt. 2 at Ashton. You will pass the Russell Terry Road on the left, and just past that road is a dirt road on the right with an old trailer beside the road.  Turn onto that dirt road to get to the cemetery. A four-wheel drive vehicle is needed to get to the cemetery, located on the ridge behind the Sturgeon barn.

Comments:

Dates or information in Red type from research on the individual, not necessarily from inscriptions, the dates being based on age at death as indicated on the tombstone.

This cemetery was last read by the late Mrs. John Sturgeon in 1970, with additions in from records research done by Mrs. J.H. Taylor.  It was Mrs. Taylor that saw to the fencing in of this cemetery in 1971 to help protect it from some of its potential further deterioration.

Work completed under auspices of WVCPA: This cemetery is in the process of being rescued by WVCPA contributor and volunteer, Terry McCallister and his uncle Fred McCallister.
