Dates in Red are not inscribed on the tombstone and have either been calculated based on death date or are as a result of research on the individual.

The Old Rehoboth Church has the distinct honor, since 1974, of being the National Register of Historic Places, being the oldest Methodist church building west of the Allegheny mountains, having been built in 1786. The log church building still stands today, though covered with a newer roof structure above the original to help protect the old building from the elements.  For additional information on the history of this church building, Click Here, or search the internet for the many articles and photos available online.

To the left and right of this text are two photos taken of the interior of the church by WVCPA staff in October 2005. The interior was quite dark, and the photos were not taken with a flash - they have been lightened digitally. The contrast/brightness of the photos are a bit distorted as a result.

For current information on open hours of the Old Rehoboth Museum and when the church building itself is open, visit the museum site online.
