| Accessibility: | This cemetery is located northwest of Eleanor on Route 62, near where 62 crosses Buffalo Creek. The cemetery is located on the right side of the road heading out of Eleanor, and is well marked. Parking by the cemetery is very limited - it amounts to the driveway of the neighboring home or in the drive of the utility station located next to the cemetery. The cemetery itself, while not steep or hard to get to, has a lot of uneven ground and it can be easy to stumble - mind your step! | |

Dates in Red are not inscribed on the tombstone and have either been calculated based on death date or are as a result of research on the individual. This cemetery had recently been cleared of very heavy undergrowth when we stopped to visit it in June 2004. It will take some time for the sod to regain a foothold among the briar roots and weeds, but with diligent care, this cemetery will have been rescued from a bad state of neglect. In 2009, this cemetery has been very well cared for. WVCPA thanks whoever is doing such a great job! |
