Possible Burials, based on WV death records:
Davis William Richard 5 April 1865 6 April 1940 [Per death certificate, buried in "home cemetery" - being the son of Allen & Emmeline Davis, and his father Allen is buried here, so there's a good chance this is the "home cemetery"] Source: WVCPA research

Comments:    Dates in Red are not inscribed on the tombstone and have either been calculated based on death date
                      or are as a
result of research on the individual.

WVCPA contributor, Angie Harkins, writes:

WVCPA contributor, Angie Harkins"...there are many more that are not marked and at least 2 I know that are buried there that have no markers.  Those 2 are Harvey Gillispie b: Mar 1872 (brother of Missouri Gillispie Poar).  I have found no record of his death date, but Mr. Chapman (who now owns the land) says he can show you right where he is buried, but he is 87 years old and cannot make the trip up there.  Missouri's husband, George Poar b: Aug 1855 in Cabell County d: 1 Jun 1930 Putnam County, is also buried there.  His father is David Poar that is buried in Frazier's Bottom United Methodist Church - the broken stone).  I believe he is beside Missouri (her grave is where you see the white plastic bag in the pictures).   Missouri is the daughter of David & Catherine.  Monroe is her grandson by her son David.   There are many more graves that are not marked but with sandstone and none are readable.  The oldest stone belongs to my 3rd great grandfather & grandmother (David & Catherine Davis Gillispie), is vaguely readable."

Thank you, Angie, for sharing your work with us! We look forward to seeing more of your cemetery finds!!
