| Accessibility: | The cemetery is located on a ridge between Whites Creek and Sharps Branch north of Cyrus and east of the Cyrus Baptist Church - not far off the main road, yet on a rather steep hillside. It is an old cemetery, and per January 2007, was pretty much abandoned. More specific directions and accessibility conditions are not available. According to family researcher and Akers descendant, Jeanne M. Howell, most all of those buried here are descendants of John C. Akers and Lucinda (Davis) Akers (Click here to view a family file from Jeanne). The Nancy B. Akers is John's mother, Nancy Rebecca "Beck" (Porter) Akers, wife of Robert N. Akers.
